We are arriving early in the morning

please advise if we will be able to store our luggage at the hotel until such time as we can book in? We would like not to waste the day as Beijing seem to offer a lot to travelers and use it to do some of the things.

Yes, you could store your luggage at the hotel free of charge and go out for a meal, sightseeing or shopping before the check in time.
