Hong Kong - Kunming - Kathmandu

Quick question:

Can I fly in with Hong Kong express airlines to Kunming - stay for 1 or 2 days in Kunming - and then leave from Kunming to Kathmandu in Nepal with China Eastern Airlines using the 72 hours transit visa exemption if I am a Danish citizen?
