About:China Private Visit Visa

Driving Under The Influence conviction

I have a misdemeanor Driving Under the Influence conviction from California from three years ago. I have completed all the required legal requirements and it is all taken care of.

Will this affect my chances of recieiving an S1 Visa? My wife will begin a graduate program in Beijing and I would be joining her.

Would this conviction make it difficult to apply for a Z type?

Hi, Stephen, maybe it won't affect the application of S1 type, but it could be a problem for the application of work Z type because non- criminal record is necessary for the application.
