About:China Work Visa

Passport validity will influence work permit validity?

It has mentioned "Applicant's valid actual passport with at least six months before expiry and at least one blank page left in it".

I am having Indian passport which is going to expire on 10th May'2020. This month 25th Aug'19 am going to apply z visa at India and hopefully I will get z visa on 2nd Sep'19 and planning to travel China on 5th Sep to apply work permit. I hope work permit will be given for one year (I. e 15th Sep'19 to 14th Sep'20). Where as my passport will expire on 10th May'20.

In such case whether they will reduce work permit duration or will give one year permit & I can apply renewal passport at China itself.
Please advice

I think you should apply for a work permit before submitting the work visa application because it is required during this application process. What you need to get after entering China is a temporary residence permit, which may have a validity of one year. Your passport is fine and you can renew it in China. It doesn't influence the validity of your temporary residence permit.
