About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Traveling from Russia to Beijing to HK

Does HK count as a separate country than China in this case? We will be in Beijing less than 72 hours but plan on staying in HK for 5 days.

Hi, Nick, you can use the 72 hour free transit in Beijing because HK will be regarded as a third region when speaking of the 72 hour policy.
