About:Hong Kong Visa Application

processing time if apply via chinese embasy

Hi,

I'm a Vietnamese citizen. I noticed this part " If an application can be directly handled by an overseas Chinese embassy/consulate, or the Beijing Office of HKSAR, or the Commissioner Office in Macau, it normally takes only four working days to process the visa", does this mean if I apply for Hong Kong visa through Chinese embassy in my country, the processing time will be 4 days normally?

Hi, I’m afraid it needs 4 to 6 weeks for the application process because the application will be transferred to HK immigration department even if you submit it to China embassy.
