About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do i need to check out my luggage if i were to use the 72 hours visa?

I will be flying via Guangzhou with 12 hours layover and I would like to take the advantage of the free transit visa. Do I need to check out my luggage as I do not wish to carry my luggage around or to pay a fee for the storage for luggage?

You should contact with the airlines to see if your luggage will be delivered to the final destination directly. If yes, you don’t need to check out your luggage. Otherwise, you need to check your luggage out and then you can store it inside the airport.
