About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can anyone give me the dfinative answer to this question.

I intend to visit Xiamen by cruise ship for 11hrs then travel on to Seoul & various other countries before ending up in Shanghai for 2days.
My question is do I need a visa for my visit to Xiamen

Mark, if the last country you come from before entering Xiamen is not Korea, you can probably use the 24 hour direct transit in Xiamen. No visa will be required then. However, you’d better double check that with the cruise ship company if you enter and leave by the same ship.
