About:China Visa Application in USA

If I have a friend who lives in San Fransisco (my regional consulate)

but I live in another state and I can't ,take it to SF to apply for the visa in person, can I entrust her to submit my application? & How does that work? Do I send her my passport and the application and money and does she just visit the consulate and drop it off? If I want my visa mailed back to me is that all possible?

Hi, you can do that. Just send her the required documents and enough money for the application, and your friend's passport is required.
The consulate doesn't provide mail-back service. You can ask your friend to help you pick up the visa, and then send it to you.
