About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Air arrival and coach bus departure from China qualify for 72 hour transit visa?

Hi we are a family of 4 US citizens flying into Guangzhou and leaving southern Guangzhou by cross-border bus 3 days later. Would we qualify for the 72 hour free transit?

No, Sweetie, you cannot use the 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou because you leave there by taking cross-border bus instead of airplane.
