I plan to overland from Mongolia (by bus) to Beijing to catch a flight out of China..would I be entitled to the 24 hours visa free as a Malaysian passport holder?

Thanks.

Helena, if you will fly to a third country or region instead of Mongolia after staying in Beijing for not less than 24 hours, you will qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing.

Hi Keller,

Thanks for your reply.
I will be flying into a 3rd country from Beijing. Is it sufficient if I show my outbound flight ticket at the Mongolia/Chinese immigration at Erlian?

Have you done similar trip? I am worry to be denied entry at the border.

You need to show your passport, the air tickets and valid visa for the third country at the immigration office inside Beijing airport.
Usually, you won’t be denied. No need to worry!
