Australia to Japan connecting in China with a domestic flight

My flight is as follows:

I am flying into Changsha on Hainan Airlines, connecting onto a domestic Hainan Airlines flight to Shanghai. Immediate connection to Narita, Japan. Do I need a visa?

You don't need a visa if there is less than 24 hours between your scheduled arrival time in Changsha and your scheduled departure time from Shaghai. If it's more than 24 hours then you need one.
