About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Hi can anyone help? I hold a 30 day Tourist Visa for China with 2 entries

my Tourist L type doesn't expire for two more weeks, however I have used both entries and I'm in Hong Kong applying for another tourist L type to re enter mainland china they told me I now have to go back to my home country New Zealand to apply from there?? Anyone know about this? I thought I had to just re apply for another tourist L type

Sorry to hear that, but usually, if you don’t have HK residence permit, it is difficult for you to make the application from there.
