Hi do I need the plane ticket before applying for visa to hongkong and the consulate in melbourne has told me that it would take 4 weeks minimum to get the visa which is different from the website because it said 4 days max can you clarify on this please. What other documents should i attach in the application also? Thank you

Johnny, your HK visa application may be transferred to HK immigration department, and then it needs 4 to 6 weeks.You should provide the travel itinerary, copy of passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, residence permit in Canada, financial support proof, and hotel booking record..
