About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

British passport travel to china shandong for 3 days.

I have a British passport. Willing to travel to HK plus meet my friends from China Shandong. If I travel from HK to Shandong and planning to stay for less than 72 hours, do I need to apply visa?

If your route is Hong Kong - Shangdong - Hong Kong then yes, you do need to apply for a Chinese visa.
