About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

can I get a multiple entry Chinese visa from Macau?

I'm American. I have a 10 years multiple entry tourist L type of china. Recently I applied for my work permit in china, but because of my company's problem, my work permit couldn't get approved. What's worse is they cancelled my 10 years multiple entry visa. Now I have to leave china within 10 days. All I want is to stay in china so that I can be with my fiancée. Does anyone know according to my situation, can I go to Macau or Hong Kong to reapply my tourist L type, instead of going all the way back to America? How many days of stay can I get? Wish it's 90 days...

Mike, it's possible for you to make the application in HK, and you can give it try. If it can be done, you don't need to go back to your country for that.

So, I ended up going back to America, people said it is better to apply from home country. Today I go to the consulate to apply for a visa.
