About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

I am currently living in shanghai with my girlfriend, who is working as a teacher.

I am on a one year, multiple entry visa, 90 day per stay. It expires in July. Can I apply for a replacement visa while in China?

It's possible for you to extend your current visa or change it into another type within China.
