How to get there

I am planning to go to Mt Huashan by train first from Xian railway station to Huashan station, then by the public bus. Do i have to buy the train and bus ticket in advance? Or can i buy it on the day itself?

Also, where exactly will the public bus depart from in Huashan station? Hos do i find the bus? and will the public bus stop at the west or east gate of Mt Huashan?

You can purchase the train and bus tickets on the spot, but it is suggested that you reserve the train tickets in advance if you travel on holidays. You can find the public bus easily at the square of the railway station. The bus 608 arrives at Baoliandeng Square (Shengtai Square), which is near the entrance of the mountain. After purchasing the tickets, you can take the free shuttle bus to Yuquan Square.

suggest u buy the high speed rail tickets in advance,30minutes u can get to huashanbei station,free bus will take u back home at the west or east gate of huashan
