independent solo traveler for three gorge cruise.

Question

I am 66 year old female and will arrive in Beijing on 8 September and depart  Beijing on14 September . I plan to visit Pingyao, Xian and' Chengdu before starting 3 Gorge Cruise. Can you suggest the best dates for me to try to book a cruise as I am aware that it will be National Day and Golden Week 1-8 October. I can be quite flexible. Hey, you are advised to avoid the China Golden Week holiday. There will have crowded tourists when visiting 3 Gorge Cruise. The mid of October will be a nice time to enjoy the cruise. Don't worry. :)
