About:Baggage Allowance and Transportation

2 suitcases: payment?

I'll be traveling from Beijing to Shanghai and from Shanghai to Xi'an in January 2018. I will probably have 2 suitcases with me. Do I have to pay for the extra suitcase, or is it for free as well?

You can take 20kg for free with you. However, the luggage hardly be weighted as long as they do not looks too large. So you can just take them with you directly

I think they are not strict with pieces as well. I met Chinese travelers with a big suitcase, a large backpack and a handbag.
