About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Beijing- Thailand- Beijing- Australia.

I am an Australian passport holder spending 3 months in china aupairing and then travelling to thailand for 4 weeks. I then fly from thailand back to beijing for one day and then fly home to australia. What visa will I need for the 1 day transit in beijing on my way home?

May, you don't need it because you can enjoy 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. You need to apply for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office when you arrive at Beijing airport if you want to leave the airport to explore the city.
