About:Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport

I will arrive at Xiamen Airport at 8.55 am on the domestic flight.

And transit to International flight at 17.35 pm.It's about 8 hours wait at the airport. What can I do? Is it possible to go to the downtown city center for many a half day tour?

You can go around the shopping mall inside the airport. If you want to go out of the airport, you may apply for a stay permit. After that, you can have a half-day tour in the city. Notably, please arrive at the airport 2 hours before your flight.
