About:Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles

My wife is Chinese and needs to get her passport renewed.

We live in Hawaii but will be in Los Angeles next month to visit the Consulate for this process. What documents and items do we need to bring with us for this and what is the best time of day to do this? Also the cost?

You need to prepare the passport and copy of its data page, a completed application form, and 4 passport-style photos taken recently, valid USA visa and its copy, as well as a personal statement.
The processing fee is USD35.
It usually takes 15 working days.
