About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

HI, I am visiting hong kong 30th june to 3rd july,

then i will travel to Beijing 3rd to 6th july when i will return to Hong Kong for 1 more night before travelling to another country on 7th july. Do i need a chinese visa or is a 72 hour free transit ok? Thanks
