I am flying Johannesburg to Dalian with a 2 hour connection in Beijing only changing planes.

I am not leaving the transit area of Beijing airport. I am returning after two days from Dalian to Korea and then flying to San Francisco. I am a U.S citizen. Will this routing work for a visa free 72 hour stay in Dalian? Many thanks, Henrick

No, you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Dalian because your transit in Beijing.
