cab serves local hotels at the beijing capital hotel?

Question

I am arriving at the Capital Airport 10 pm and want to take a cab to local hotel, only 2 miles away.The hotel does not have shuttle service. I need to take a cab or walk. How easy to walk and how much does it cost to take a cab ?  Does the cab refuse to go short distance ? .

Ken, is your hotel located at no.3 Qian Men East Street? As I know, it’s around 18 miles away from the airport, not only 2 miles. If the address is right, you may take the following route into consideration.You can take the airport shuttle bus line 3 to BJ Railway Station first. This bus operates till 24:00. The ticket fare is CNY24/person. Upon arrival, you may take a taxi to your hotel at the cost of CNY15 or also. If you take a taxi to the hotel directly, it will cost CNY90-120 at night.
