How much would a taxi ride cost from Beijing City to Ming Tombs?

Is it easy to get a cab back from Ming Tombs to the city?

Hey, what do you mean by city center? Take Wangfujing Street as an example, it would costs CNY 160-170 in the day time. However, as I know, it won't be that easy for you to take a cab and go back. You are advised to hire a private car directly. :)
