A question about electricity.

Do the hotels have converters for 110v or do we need to bring that with us?

Most of hotels in China have both 110V and 220V electrical outlets in the bathrooms, but in guest rooms usually only 220V sockets are available. So you may take a converter or buy one in China. It costs around CNY100-200.
