About:China Private Visit Visa

mother and father applying for s2 visa to visit son working in china.

Application form states that supporting documents must not be shared. We need to provide original, as well as a photocopy, of our sons birth certificate, however, we only have one original birth certificate. My partner has an appointment with you to apply for both his and my visa. Could one application contain only a photocopy of my son's birth certificate?

That's all right. You two can make the applications at the same time, just providing your marriage certificate and your son's birth certificate. In this case, it won't be a problem.
