About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

On my way to Europe but stopping in HOng Kong

I will be on my way to Europe but stopping in Hong Kong on my way in and out of Shanghai. Do I qualify?
Brisbane-Hong Kong- Shanghai - Hong Kong- Dubai- Barcelona

No, because HKG-SHA-HKG is not transit.
