About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

arrival/departure - same airport, two different tickets

Hi, I am wondering, whether I can apply for a 72-hour visa free transit, if I will travel on two independent one-way air tickets as following:
1) AKL-SYD-PEK, and
2) PEK-WAW-VIE.
Of course, I will reserve them to fit within the time-frame of 72-hour "connection" in PEK.

That's not a problem if your departure time is within 72 hours after your arrival in Beijing and not a minute longer.
