Bus 867 still running?Where to buy bus tickets? on the bus ?Is it far from the tower 14 to 6 and from 14 to 24? I mean the distance and the time that can be overcome

As far as I know, the bus 867 runs to Hongluo Temple, not Mutianyu. You should hire a minivan to Mutianyu from Hongluo Temple. Or you can take 916 and 916 Express to Huairou and transfer to bus line h23, h24, h35, or h36 to Mutianyu. You can buy tickets on the bus. I think hike northward from 14 to 24 is better as it has the most beautiful scenery.
