Will baggage be automatically transferred from United to Mongolian Airlines at Capital Airport?

I will be arriving at PEK on United airlines from USA and transferring to Mongonlian airlines. Will I need to go to baggage claim to get my luggage and go through check in again? I was told that I don't need a visa for the one stop in China. I have 2 hours and 30 minutes between flights, will this be enough time? Thank you for your help

1. For international to international transfer at PEK, you don't need to recheck the luggage. In addition, you need to consult your airline about whether they have luggage check through service or not. If yes, your baggage will be automatically transferred.
2. You have enough time to catch the next flight. Don't worry. You don't need to have a visa. You can enjoy the 24 hours visa free policy.
