About:International Trains from/to China

If I purchase train tickets from Beijing to ulanbator...

I don't know where I'm staying in Beijing yet so am unable to give accommodation address for the tickets to be delivered to. Would I be able to pick up the tickets when I get to Beijing?

As I know there is only paper ticket type for this trip. In this way, you cannot collect it from the station by yourself. The paper ticket will be delivered instead. If you do not have an address now, you can offer them later
