About:China Work Visa

I have been working in China for almost four years

and I recently was hired in another school in a different city but the same province. When I was originally hired, I didn't need a criminal background check. Do I now need one because I'm changing jobs? What about an FBI check and fingerprints?

Based on what I know, the criminal background check is necessary, and maybe the FBI check and fingerprints are also needed.

It depends on the local requirements where you plan to work in the future.
From city to city, the requirements are different.
You'd better ask the right staff of the school in charge of visa issues whether you need the no criminal record or not.
