one day hiking to xihai grand canyon from bottom (outside national park), is it possible?

Hi ,I am interested if I can do hiking just in one day to see Xihai Grand Canyon from outside of park (unfortunately I have just one full day to spend in mountains). I will have accommodation 7 km away from Tangkou.I saw few maps, and I want to know if is possible to do hiking from Western Gate/Diaoquiao Nunnery(Swan Bridge, Sanxi Bridge) to Baiyun Hotel (and a little bit around) and go back by western steps , in the same day.I didn't find information about Western gate, like accessing from Tangkou.Any itinerary for one day to include Xihai Grand Canyon,but from outside will be helpful for me :)

It is suggested to tour around Xihai Grand Canyon in the following route:Paiyun Pavilion - the Bottom of the valley - Sanxikou - Buxian Bridge - Baiyun Hotel.This hiking route is around 6.5 miles (10.5 kilometers). Generally speaking, it will spend around 6 hours to complete this route. Hope helpful!

Hi,I think your suggestion is if you are already up on the mountain. I need to go from Tangkou in the morning and to come back in the evening. Is it possible? I mean for one couple, medium fit in one day....I need to consider also the hike from Tangkou....not just Xihai Garand Canyon.Thank you and I appreciate any suggestion.
