About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

I am going to HK and then plan on catching the train to Guangzhou from hong kong

then flying guanzhou to Sydney.

I am arriving on Friday in HK and office not open till Monday so it may be safer for me to get visa from Sydney embassy before leaving.
Can you tell me what type I need, the cost, how many days standard fee take and should I just get visa in HK?
thankyou very much

Johnny, you can apply for a single-entry tourist L type for that. It costs AUD109.5 per person. Usually, 4 working days are needed to get the result. You are advised to make the application in your home country.
