I'm planning a quick 5 day trip to Shanghai (121 hours)

I'm flying from Brisbane and back to Brisbane. Will this qualify as a "transit"? And will the 144 hour visa be applicable for this quick trip?

Since you will fly from Brisbane to Shanghai and then back to Brisbane, I am afraid that you can not avail of the 144-hour visa free as it is not a transit.
