Is foreigner's health check up is required to apply for S1 visa.

I am in China with X1 visa, and got temporary residence permit for next two years. I want to invite my wife and son to reside with me. I am qurious to know that as it is mendatiry to have physical health certificate while applying for X1. Is it also necessary for S1?

Sunil, when you apply for the residence permit, the physical examination record is needed for your wife and you, but your son doesn’t need to provide it if he is below 18 years old.

Physical examination in China is ok.......My question is whether I need physical examination while applying for S1 type for my wife and son?

Your wife needs to provide physical examination record, but your son may not need it if he is below 18 years old!
