Best time to visit Xinjiang

Is 9 or 10 days enough to visit most of the impressive and interesting sites in Xinjiang? Is early September better than Mid-October to visit Xinjiang because we want to avoid China National Day? Any recommended places to visit in Xinjiang?

Thank you.

SL, you are suggested visit there in early September, when the weather is comfortable and the fruit ripens. 9 or 10 days is enough to cover most famous attractions such as Heavenly Lake, Red Hill, and Tianshan Mountains in Urumqi, Grape Valley, Baizikeli Thousand Buddha Cave, and Flaming Mountain in Turpan, as well as Id Kah Mosque, Abakh Khoja Tomb, and Kashgar Bazaar in Kashgar.
