About:Chinese Embassy in Algeria

I received an invitation to visit Hong Kong from 11 to 14 April 2017

and attend an electronics venue as a delegate of a company. I need to know two things. First do I need a visa? Second, what are the working days to receive the visa in Chinese embassy in Algeria? My passport will be ready next Thursday6 th April Max and I'm from Tebessa. Is there any chance to get the visa before the due date(11th April)? Please reply as soon as possible.

Hi, you don't need to apply for a visa for that because Algeria passport holders can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of not more than 14 days.

Hello, thank you so much for your quick response. It was a great help for me. I am a female university student and I'm traveling for the first time. I am Muslim and I am wearing Hijab. I was wondering if I will be asked to remove my Hijab at the airport? My passport picture is with Hijab, is it okay? Thak you again and sorry for taking your time.

Hi sister, don't worry about your hijahb, there is a big muslim community in hongkong. and the authorities are bound by law to respect religion freedom. enjoy your stay in hongkong
