About:China Transit Visa

My colleague and I are travelling to Mongolia via Beijing.

We have a 6 hour transit in Beijing. I have a UK passport so assume I am ok for the 24 hour transit visa in Beijing, but what about my Indian colleague?

Thanks Fernando, what happens if our luggage is not checked in all the way to Mongolia and we need to collect our bags and check in for our flight to Mongolia at Beijing airport?
