I have a student resident permit and i would like to visit my girlfriend for 3 weeks who's studying in China. What kind of visa do i have to apply and what are requirements?

You are advised to apply for tourist visa for that.The relevant documents: your passport and copy of its data page, a completed application form, and a passport-style photo, your residence permit in Austria, round trip air tickets, and hotel booking record or an invitation letter from your girlfriend.
