Traveling from US to Thailand with layover in china
I will be traveling from the US to Thailand I have an 18 hr over night layover in Shanghai (planning to get a hotel room close to airport) then to Thailand for 10 days my returning flight is with a 10 hr layover in Beijing, would I be able to use the 72 hr visa even if I'm only planning on leaving the Shanghai airport?
