i am staying in shenzhenhave an early flight out of hkia.

Question

My intention is to stay overnight at a hotel close to HKIA prior to the morning departure.  Can I use the Shekou Port to HKIA ferry to go directly to the airport and then to my hotel the day before I fly, or do I have to take the ferry from SZ to Hong Kong Island and then travel out to my hotel near the airport by MTR/Airport Express or similar?

Hi Pat, As HKIA airport ferry is directly into the terminal, the answer is no. You can only take the ferry on the day of flight departure.You would have to take the ferry to the HK Central Ferry Terminal. And then go to the hotel nearby the Airport Express.
