About:China Work Visa

I have been offered a years contract in China

and was wondering whether my partner (not married) would be able to accompany me or not and how would she go about this? Thank you

Derek, no, your parent cannot accompany you to China. If she wants to stay with you in China, you two should get married first, and then she can apply for an S1 type for China to accompany you.

The only visa you can get for her is tourist L type for short time. If you want long stay, you must get married and get certificate which has been authenticated by the Chinese embassy
