About:China Train

The train from Huangshan to Nanjing offers hard/soft sleepers

Can I buy all 4 tickets for the soft sleeper cabine, but the cabine will only be occupied by two people?

You can only buy one ticket by using one's passport, so if you need 4 tickets, you need to hold 4 passports in total.

Tanx for the quick respons - but I have still one question;

if I book with four tickets for the soft sleeper with four passports ID's, but we will only with two people to travel so we get the cabin all for ourselves, is this possible ?

Well, this cannot be 100% sure. If you can hold all the 4 passports and collect the 4 paper ticket out in hand, the chance should be bigger. With the paper ticket in hand, the bed should not be sold by the train staff.
