About:Xiamen Transportation

How can we get to Chongqing airport from the cruise port?

We will take an upstream cruise from Yichang to Chongqing, we hope to fly to Shanghai after leaving the cruise. Can you kindly advise how long from where the ship arrives to the airport and how to get there (taxi?).

The upstream cruise from Yichang arrives at Chongqing Chaotianmen Port, which is around 25 kilometers away from Jiangbei International Airport. The most convenient way is taking a taxi. It takes around 40 minutes and costs about CNY50-60.

For your information, people who take an internal flight are suggested to arrive at the airport around 2 hours in advance. The estimated arrival time of the cruise is around 09:00 in the morning, so you may consider a flight departing at around or after 11:50 to Shanghai. Have a good time!
