How do I get from Beijing Capital Airport to Tiananmen Square?

From the airport, you can take Airport Express to Dongzhimen (CNY25), then change to subway line 2 and get off at Qianmen Station. Get out of the station from Exit A or B and then walk north to the Tiananmen Square. The whole journey takes around one hour.

Or you may take airport shuttle bus line 2 to Xidan (CNY16), transfer to bus no. 1 or no. 52 and get off at Tiananmen Xi. It takes longer time by this way, about 1.5 hours.
