About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Roundtrip Europe-Shanghai-Europe

Sorry, I have one more question..

For instance, if I flew from Spain to Shanghai and back from Shanghai to Germany or to the UK, would I be eligible for the 144hour-visa?

That's fine. The Chinese immigration does not care if it's a Schengen/EU country as long as it's a different one.
